We are so excited for our Holiday Market on Birch Street tomorrow from 4:00 to 8:00pm. The evening will truly be a unique Rozzie holiday shopping and community celebration, and we plan on seeing you there!
Our plan is to celebrate the holiday season as well as wintertime in New England, but it also looks quite windy tomorrow. To protect our vendors and our tents, their macarons, delicate ornaments, and letterpress prints, we are moving all gift-y vendors into two warm areas along Birch Street: 22 Birch Street (we are activating the vacant storefront where Kitchen Central used to be) and inside the Emerald Society. We are also excited that the courtyard space where Sophia’s Grotto is located (they have heaters!) will be cozier, protected from the wind, and filled with more pizazz including Exodus Bagels selling bagels and spreads under a heated pergola, the Boston Cheese Cellar will be offering a gooey cheesy raclette experience from their stoop, Apothekers chocolate and marshmallows and Apex Orchards will complete the Courtyard with Christmas trees, apples, and honey. We are happy to use the courtyard space that is unique to our neighborhood, activate a storefront that has been vacant and filling it with holiday vendors, bring in live music of all kinds, and support our local businesses and restaurants along the way. It’s a win-win-win for everyone, and we hope you enjoy the night away with us!
If you’d like to see more of these pop-up events that support our local business district by bringing people out to shop, eat, and play, consider supporting Roslindale Village Main Street before the end of the year. We believe in bringing people together in order to make a positive impact in our neighborhood. Supporting your local businesses and your local Main Street Program is part of that. The RVMS table will have a really great raffle inside the Emerald Society tomorrow – with 8 prizes to choose from with your ticket. We encourage you to join us tomorrow by not only winning a great raffle prize and shopping locally, but also to sign up for our newsletter, buy a warm ROS beanie or one of our NEW pint glasses or buttons, give us a hug or high five, and learn how to get involved.
Bundle-up, and see you all tomorrow!
