TREE LIGHTING
Mark your calendars for the annual Roslindale Tree Lighting in Adams Park! The RVMS elves are hard at work preparing for this fun, holiday spirit-fueled event on Saturday, November 30 from 3-5 PM!
Some things to look forward to include a visit from Santa, musical performances by Making Music Matters and JP Honk, and a festive performance by City Ballet of Boston. You'll also enjoy ornament decorating, holiday treats, and of course, the "Reindog" Costume Contest! To close out the event, Mayor Michelle Wu will join us to help us light the tree as the sun sets on Adams Park! The tree will be lit around 4:30pm.
Don't forget that it's Small Business Saturday in the Village that day too, so we hope you'll join us in shopping small!
REINDOG COSTUME CONTEST
All are invited to enter the Reindog Costume Contest! Dress your pup up in their holiday best, and feel free to join in on the fun with a costume of your own. You'll parade across the stage, and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes! There is no cost to participate, and no registration in advance. Participants should meet by the stage at the Tree Lighting between 2:45-3pm to check in. The Reindog Costume Contest is scheduled to take place around 3:15pm.
Please see below for some important rules and reminders.
