Roslindale Village Main Street is driven by a partnership of volunteer residents, business owners, and property owners with a common investment in Roslindale Village’s future. Volunteers primarily participate in the work of RVMS by joining one of our Committees: Design, Economic Development, Marketing, and the Farmers Market Committee. Committees in each of these areas meet regularly and collaborate on focused initiatives to improve the business district, attract foot traffic and strengthen community. To begin volunteering with RVMS, we recommend you attend an RVMS Volunteer Orientation.
Outside of the Committees, volunteers also assist in a range of capacities, from events assistance to office work. Please contact the Program Manager to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
Support Our Work
RVMS has counted on donations from residents like you as we work hand-in-hand with businesses, community leaders, and elected officials to revitalize Roslindale Village. What does over 30 years of revitalization look like? It looks like a neighborhood that’s a destination for dining, both casual and gourmet. It looks like beautiful public spaces for people to gather, from Adams Park to the Cohasset Street Parklet. It looks like a place to raise a family and start a business. It looks like the Roslindale we built together. Contribute to the work of your local Main Street program today!
Roslindale Village Main Street launched the Rozzie Bucks program in September 2013 as a way to reinforce the habit of setting aside money for local shopping. Roslindale Village Main Street now offers Rozzie Bucks in $1, $5, $10, and $50 denominations. Purchase Rozzie Bucks at the RVMS office at 4236A Washington Street during regular business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) or at the RVMS Farmers Market in Adams Park each Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Think of it like buying a gift certificate to a mall — except these Rozzie Bucks are the gift of shopping local in our Village.
