Mr. Bunny makes his welcome appearance during our annual Chick-or-Treat Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23 from 10:00am-12:00pm! The much-loved tradition draws hundreds of families to this hunt for toy-filled eggs. The Egg Hunt will take place from 10:00am-11:00am and will kick off at Adams Park. Kids will hunt for eggs trick-or-treat style at various businesses around the Village. Look for signs in business windows, and a map will be available at the event to know which businesses are participating.
Once you've filled your baskets, meet us back at Adams Park for children's activities, entertainment, and pictures with the Easter Bunny from 11:00am-12:00pm. JP Honk will be providing some live music, Davey the Clown will be there, and we’ll have face painting and balloon animals!
Children should bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. Older children and families can join for activities, live music, and more! Our eggs are filled with toys, not candy, so they are allergen friendly. And if you're lucky, you'll find one of the special eggs with a slip to redeem a gift card to a local Roslindale business inside!
“The Annual Egg Hunt is a kid favorite that draws families from all over,” said Executive Director Anna VanRemoortel. “The much-anticipated appearance of the Easter Bunny is always a big hit, and we’re excited about some of the changes we’ve made this year. Moving the festivities to Adams Park and doubling the number of eggs (we have 10,000 this year!) will make for a more enjoyable experience for everyone. We hope to see many families come out to enjoy this heart-warming neighborhood tradition.”
