Small Business Mini-Grants

While the deadline has passed and applicants have been funded, read below for more information about this program.

About the Program

The RVMS Small Business Mini-Grant Program will provide mini-grants to Roslindale Village businesses that are facing an unprecedented economic disruption due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Supporting small businesses is the reason Roslindale Village Main Street was created in 1985.

RVMS is allocating $25,000 in mini-grants of up to $1,000 per business, aimed at supporting a variety of businesses deemed both essential and non-essential.

  • We will allocate part of our funding towards¬†OPEN businesses to support costs incurred to pivot their services in the current crisis. This could fund new technology systems, websites, social media ads, Zoom subscriptions, cleaning products, etc.

  • We will also allocate part of our funding towards businesses that were forced to close (i.e., barber shops, salons, dry cleaning services) during the pandemic and are currently developing the appropriate steps to reopen.

How to Apply

The link to the application will be available on this website beginning Wednesday, May 13th at 5:00 PM EST and will close on Friday, May 22 at 11:59 PM EST.

To qualify for a mini-grant, businesses must have a brick and mortar location within the RVMS business catchment area

Businesses should also have a completed W9 form ready to upload to the application.
